Slim to none. You could download recovery software or send the drive to a recovery specialist but it would be throwing money away.i'm assuming you didn't take an image of the machine before re-imaging?

You could try some kind of Data Recovery Application, but I think you might have to send the disk off to professional recovery.

Whenever I have to re-image a standalone machine, I always double check the Profile on the laptop/desktop and the copy on the external hdd, to make sure everything is the same.

The only option is to stop using the drive & try recovery software or a professional recovery. Both options will cost & neither is guaranteed.

You can try a recovery specialist. I had this happen and they recovered the files that were needed. However, you are looking at probably over 1000 for the data.

depending on how you did the image it may have created a windows.old folder with the entire previous OS in that folder including profiles. doesn't hurt to look.

Update:I ran Remo Recover and managed to get 3 archives (15GB worth!). I then used Stellar Phoenix PST repair and managed to get working PST files back!The user is happy and I'm still employed! :)Gav.
